the nonfiction submission guidelines are as follows:
we are looking for nonfiction work focusing around the sometimes messy, definitely imperfect, beautifully clumsy stories that embroider our lives. what ties humans to earth, and to each other, in times of uncertainty or disarray? we want to hear your answer, and anything else you want to share with us: the tangled, the complex, the heartwarming—and everything in between. no, seriously, everything.

- you may submit a maximum of 10 pages, per submission.
- you must use a 12-point font with double-spaced formatting.
- if you would like to utilize a custom format for artistic or stylistic purposes, you are welcome to do so.
- personal essays, creative nonfiction, and memoir writing are welcome here!
