our mission

patchwork lit mag aims to foster a community of diverse voices, we will stitch together all of our loose threads and house the thoughts that overflow. we are looking for honest narratives, stories that defy genre, escapes into handcrafted worlds, and words found between the seams. we embrace brokenness and all states of healing. our magazine will showcase a mosaic through intricately-woven patches of our lives.

March 12th 11:59pm CST 💜 what shaped you into the person you are today? was it a single experience or a collection of little things? positive or negative, we want to hear it the miscellaneous, the forgotten, the beautiful scraps stories with warmth, strong literary voice, subtleties in language, and anything in between photography, illustrations, digital art, collage art or anything that involves the connection of varying themes, dualities, and patterns. put your scraps together, slap some doodles on a page. visual art within our little quilt is an essential patch to our magazine.
